Some HBAs have the information written on the cards themselves.

This script is not working on Windows 2012
-
It would be helpful to state what you lot found to not piece of work. I just issued the bones Get-WmiObject command and retrieved the information on Windows Server 2012 host.
This forum is not meant for debugging scripts from the scriptcenter gallery. If you lot run it and have problems with it, in that location is an author who can be contacted, or, if you desire, you can post a query about the trouble yous run into at the Scripting Guys forum. They will help y'all with your bug, just you have to identify what isn't working. A uncomplicated statement like "is not working" is not very helpful.

Microsoft how about putting dorsum the Storage Explorer? I think Microsoft has lost their mind. The whole signal of windows was to not utilise the CLI... which was smashing for small networks. Now with powershell when i take one user to change i get to do 500 lines of lawmaking. Powershell is bang-up when i demand to aid 500 or 5000 users at once. Only sometimes i just want to do one thing.. Think Microsoft call up!

This gives the result only in order to find the correct slot number for the HBA equally well best is to utilize the fcinfo utility. Relatively the BIOS tin can exist used for checking the HBA serial number and the WWN associated with information technology.
